10,000 Words gets a major update
Sunday, January 11, 2009
As 10,000 Words has grown from a small side project to a full-blown resource, it became increasingly apparent that the site was due for an overhaul. If you look around, you'll notice quite a few changes — and not just cosmetic ones either. The site has increased navigability, better search function and new links and information have been added to old posts, among other things.

Oh, I like the blue! but the new one is great. Congratulations from Mexico, City. Your blog is very interesting.

Really like the new design, but the spiral for the reporters notebook is cut off at the top for me.

Love the fresh look. Clean, easy to navigate. Thumbnails for tags are good visual hook.
I think that a upper nav bar with links to Popular Posts, Archives, and Tags would improve click rate for those areas. Otherwise, I'm bound to never venture south on the page to seek them out.
tips? comments? I would put this in upper left below subscribe and above Tags for better visibility.

I love it, but have you looked at it in IE6? Your spiral header is over a bit of the title of the first post and the whole spiral and posts drop down below your left rail. (I read it anyway.) :)

Yeah, I am not offering anything new here, but the tag icons are freakin' sweet. It's simple and too the point, which totally works. My only thought might perhaps be a jazzier header, but, really, I think we both know it doesn't need it and would require more time than it's worth. Great work - and holler at Mexico City from Philadelphia.
